Barbora Krejcikova won the Wimbledon women's final for her second Grand Slam title with a 6-2 2-6 6-4 victory over Jasmine Paolini on Saturday.
Krejcikova's Rise to the Top
Unseeded Czech Barbora Krejcikova sealed her rapid rise in the singles game by claiming a first Grand Slam title in an emotional French Open in 2021. In her first ever Grand Slam final in only her fifth main draw singles appearance, Krejčíková beat Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in three sets to claim the title.
